Pet Anesthesia: Tailored Care & Board-Certified Specialist Support

We know that anesthesia is a major concern for pet owners. That’s why we use safe anesthesia for pets, tailored to your pet’s size, health history, and specific needs. Our team performs pre-surgical bloodwork, continuously monitors vital signs during the procedure, and provides detailed aftercare instructions so your pet can recover comfortably at home.

For those who want an additional layer of safety, we partner with Safe Pet Anesthesia. Through this partnership, a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist helps develop your pet’s anesthetic plan, then joins our team live by video call to guide the procedure from start to finish—just as if they were in the room.

What to Expect on Surgery Day

Please don’t feed your pet the morning of surgery, and plan to arrive first thing in the morning. This allows us to examine and prepare them for surgery. Surgical procedures are usually done in the early afternoon.

Most pets go home the same day after surgery. You’ll receive a personalized take-home packet with instructions for post-op care, including pain management and wound care tips. If your pet needs additional observation, we’ll discuss that with you ahead of time.

Have Questions About Surgery? We’re Here to Help.

From spay and neuter services to lump removals for pets, our goal is to deliver compassionate surgical care you can trust. If you’re unsure whether a procedure is needed or want to learn more about your options, we’re happy to walk you through it.
